⚠️ Requirements for installations without Steinberg Download Assistant
Before installing HALion 7, the following utilities must be installed resp. updated:

| Steinberg MediaBay | ⬇ macOS⬇ Windows |
If they are missing or not up-to-date, the installation without the Steinberg Download Assistant will fail.
HALION 7 APPLICATION INSTALLER
The Application Installer can be used for installing from scratch, as well as for updating existing HALion 7.x installations.

This is the complete content for HALion 7, including FM Labs and Tales. In addition to the content from the HALion Sonic 7 Collection, it comes with the “HALion 4 Factory Content” library, which comprises around 767 MB and 240 presets.
Installation of content
- Download the content. It is cross-platform and can be used on both macOS and Windows.
- The content generally consists of vstsound files. To make them downloadable, the files have been condensed in an ISO disk image.
- Double-click the downloaded ISO disk image. It will be mounted as a virtual volume.
- Double-click on one of the contained vstsound files.
- The Steinberg Library Manager will be started automatically and offers the installation of all vstsound files.
