Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH uses the social platform Facebook to publish advertising campaigns. If Facebook users are interested in this service, Facebook offers a format called Facebook "Lead Ads". A contact form for lead generation. The user can enter the requested contact information into the form or - if the data is already available within the Facebook account - it will be filled in automatically by Facebook.
When using "Lead Ads", personal data will be processed. Please find more detailed information about this below:

2 For which purposes and on what legal basis will your data be processed?
When using Facebook, various data about you is collected, for example user or contact data. Facebook does process this information even if you use the contact option "Lead Ads". Please note that we do not have any influence over this processing of data. On this matter, Facebook acts as sole controller under data protection law. Steinberg collects and processes the data requested in the "Lead Ads" form solely for the purposes described in the form, in particular:

Legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest in processing this data is based on your provided Data via the "Lead Ads" form.
3 How long will the data be stored?
Facebook stores your data based on your user behaviour. Information on the storage period can be found in the Facebook Privacy Policy under "How long do we keep your information".
Steinberg stores your data collected within the "Lead Ads" form for as long as it is required for the described marketing purposes. After that, your data will be deleted immediately, provided there are no legal retention periods requiring otherwise.
4 Who is the data transferred to?
Steinberg has no control over with whom Facebook shares your data with, and whether Facebook also processes personal data in third countries, for example whether data is transferred to Facebook Inc. in the USA.
5 Your Rights
The GDPR grants various rights to those affected by the processing of personal data, which we will explain to you below. You have the right:
to request access to information about whether we process your personal data and, if so, which data is processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR;
to demand the rectification of your incorrect personal data and the completion of any personal data stored by us in accordance with 16 GDPR;
to demand the deletion of personal data concerning you without undue delay in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR;
to request the restriction of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR;
to receive the personal data, that you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request its transmission to another controller in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR;
to object under certain conditions to the processing of your personal data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e GDPR (in the public interest) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (to safeguard a legitimate interest), or to object to processing for direct marketing purposes in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR;
in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR, to revoke your consent at any time. In consequence, we will no longer continue to process your personal data. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation;
