Important information

Please read this note first before the installation.
macOS: Please read this document for the detailed installation description on macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later. Especially Apple silicon-based Mac users, please read this article carefully! This is not required for TOOLS for AXR4T V2.2.0 or later using system extensions anymore.
macOS/Windows: After installing the TOOLS, first update the firmware to the included version using the firmware update function on the dspMixFx AXR.
Important: Firmware updates for the AXR4T should always be performed with only one unit connected to the computer, not two or more units stacked!
macOS: please update the Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver to V3.1.6 or newer after the TOOLS for AXR4U installation.
Please check the new supplementary manuals released on steinberg.help for details.

The TOOLS for AXR4U come with a Yamaha Steinberg USB driver component included. However, a newer version of the driver for your USB audio interface might be available on this page. The driver component can be updated separately in this case.
