Basic FX Suite

Basic FX Suite contains the VST, AAX and AU (macOS only) versions of the effects Sweet Spot Morphing Channel Strip, REV-X and Guitar Amps Classic.
Please note that a Basic FX Suite license is required to use the plug-ins!

Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver

The TOOLS for UR come with a Yamaha Steinberg USB driver component included. However, a newer version of the driver for your USB audio interface might be available on this page. The driver component can be updated separately in this case.

Firmware

TOOLS for UR28M V2.1.0 or higher are required.
Please note the "Update Guide" that is included in the ZIP file.

How to install
Extract the downladed ZIP file by double-clicking on it. Another double-click on the "Setup.exe" (Windows) or the "Tools for UR28M" package (Mac) starts the installation.

UR28M FIRMWARE UPDATE V1.10 (Windows) & 1.10-3 (MAC OS X)

With the new firmware, the input signal level of line input 3/4 can be selected between +4 dBu and -10 dBv.

Mac OS X only (V1.1.3-3): The update program now supports Gatekeeper. The firmware version is the same as before.
