Download faster, more convenient and more reliably using the Steinberg Download Assistant.

⚠️ Requirements for installations without Steinberg Download Assistant

Before installing any of the Dorico 5 components below, the following utilities must be installed resp. updated:

Steinberg Activation Manager	⬇ macOS ⬇ Windows
Steinberg Library Manager	⬇ macOS ⬇ Windows
Steinberg MediaBay	⬇ macOS ⬇ Windows

If they are missing or not up-to-date, the installation without the Steinberg Download Assistant will fail.

Can be used for new installations as well as for updating Dorico 5.
When updating an existing Dorico 5 installation, using the Applications Installer is sufficient.
Installing HALion Sonic and the content is only required when installing from the scratch.

The VST Instruments and the corresponding content is used as tone generator by Dorico 5.

Download the desired content. Content files are cross-platform.
Dorico 5 content generally consists of vstsound files. To make them downloadable, the files have been condensed in an ISO disk image.
Double-click the downloaded ISO disk image. It will be mounted as a virtual volume.
Double-click on one of the contained vstsound files.
The Steinberg Library Manager will be started automatically and offers the installation of all vstsound files.
